Arrive at Agersioual after your transfer from Marrakech, meet the cook, guide, and muleteers, and begin your first day of hiking in Ouirgane National Park, which is an acclimatization hike. This is a softer terrain with juniper trees and copper green soil. Spend the night at the Tizian Berber Village. about four to five hours of walking.

Following breakfast, you'll climb above the valley and make your way to the breathtaking Azzaden Valley. At the head of the Valley, Toubkal and her sister peaks are seen, with a roaring mountain torrent encircled by verdant walnut forests. Spend the night camping or in a village gite. about seven hours on foot.

It's a rather strenuous climb today to reach the Toubkal Refuge from the Azzadene Valley, passing by the Ighouliden waterfalls and across the 3,560-meter-high Aguelzim Mountain peak. We'll eat lunch outside with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountain Range. Spend the night at 3,200 meters in the Toubkal Refuge (Niltner Hut), where you'll probably be sharing a bunk room with other hikers who plan to ascend Toubkal early the following day. about seven hours on foot.

Get up early for the 4,167-meter ascent to Toubkal, where, weather permitting, you'll have amazing views across the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. From there, it's a lengthy descent back down via the refuge and the well-trod path back to Imlil. It will take eight to nine hours to complete the 900 meters of climbing and about 2,500 meters of descending to reach Imlil. Before returning to Marrakech
